There is not need to store music, video or pictures on this device because streaming with Pandora, YouTube and Picasa eliminate the need for storage of large files. This gives you the ability to download and use hundred of free iPad applications in the marketplace without the need for additional storage. This is a great deal and will last you have a long time. The iPad is also on sale at Target for $250 if you must have the latest version because an iPad without a 3G dataplan is just fine. However, if you are giving your old iPad to your kids beware of the in-app purchase issues if you kids are playing games.
